None of my students could benefit from using RSS. My most capable students can barely surf the web. RSS would be above their abilities. I can see that I could benefit from using RSS. LIF (Limited Intellectual Functioning) Special Education is a fairly new educational program for students with mild to severe mental retardation. The program teaches them functional reading and math
but focuses on life skills. Finding curriculum that suites my students has been difficult. I have found many valuable lessons on the web. I can see where RSS can limit the time spent searching the web for lessons. RSS would keep me updated on current research without spending hours looking for viable sources.
